Mazda has introduced its new flagship five-seat crossover, the Mazda CX-70, offering 923 liters of luggage space with the seats up and up to 2015 liters with the seats folded.
The CX-70 is equipped with two powerful 3.3-liter turbo engines to choose from: a 340-liter gasoline engine and a 251-hp diesel engine complemented by a 48-volt mild hybrid. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission and an i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive system.
GT and Maximum trim levels are available and can be upgraded with the SP package, which includes Nappa leather seats, suede trim and a two-tone steering wheel. The equipment includes a lane control system, blind spot monitoring and traffic jam assist with a new function for an inactive driver. Mazda CX-70 prices start at $50,500.
