The Redmi Smart TV X 2025 series is equipped with its own 4K (3840×2160) display that supports up to 144 Hz refresh rate. It has a 240Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming. It supports HDR and AI-SR Super Resolution, which upscales low-resolution content to near 4K quality. To further enhance the viewing experience, it includes MEMC motion compensation that ensures minimal blurring of fast-moving content.
This TV series features a wide color gamut with 94% DCI-P3 coverage and professional-level color accuracy with a ΔE≈2 rating. It also features Xiaomi’s own display technologies, including the “Qingshan Eye Care” solution approved by Chinese medical standards, which reduces eye fatigue for more comfortable viewing.
The TV is powered by MediaTek MT9655 quad-core Cortex-A73 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 for a faster and more stable connection.
For connectivity, the Redmi Smart TV X 2025 series comes with three HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports eARC for enhanced audio output. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR), automatic low latency mode (ALLM), and has Bluetooth 5.2, S/PDIF, LAN, AV input, and two USB ports (one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0).
The audio system includes dual 25W speakers with Dolby Vision and DTS support for an immersive audiovisual experience.
The TV runs on the latest version of Xiaomi HyperOS, which includes AI assistant Xiao Ai for voice control as well as full integration with the Mi Home app for smart home control. It supports NFC-based screen casting, making it easy to mirror content from compatible smartphones.
The 55-inch model of the Redmi Smart TV X 2025 series starts at $ 309, and the 65-inch model starts at $ 393. The larger 75-inch version will be available for $533, while the 85-inch model will be available for $674. The pre-sale will start tonight and the TV will be available soon through official Xiaomi channels and authorized dealers.
Details of global availability are not yet known. In August this year, Xiaomi introduced the Smart TV X Series 2024 in India, suggesting that the new iteration could be launched in India next year.
