This is the best solution if you can’t hear the dialogue on Netflix: it doesn’t take a minute and it’s changed the way I watch TV and movies.

It’s happened to all of us at one point or another: we’re watching an episode of a series on Netflix on our Smart TV, and for some reason the volume of the dialogue is too low. that makes it It’s harder to understand what the characters are sayingand harms the overall TV viewing experience.

It doesn’t matter if your TV is Android TV or works with any other system because this is not a problem with your Smart TV. The crime is on Netflix, so to speak: This is a configuration error It’s the app’s problem and luckily we can fix it in a few seconds.

“I can’t hear sounds on Netflix”: this is how you fix this annoying problem

As we mentioned, this is not a problem caused by the operation of your Smart TV, nor is it a malfunction of the Netflix application. Rather, there is a configuration error in it. The low volume issue in Netflix dialogues is caused by the app believing it to be, or rather, Assuming we have a surround sound system at home.

In such cases, when we have a 5.1 or higher audio system installed in our home, with more than one speaker and a subwoofer, the application reproduces the sound of TV series, movies and other programs with a positioning more appropriate to what appears on the screen. So, if something explodes on our right side, we will mostly hear the explosion from our right side.

In some cases, Netflix usually assumes that the user may have a multi-speaker audio system. Therefore, you can set the application sound as default for the surround system. But, Dialogues may be “covered” if we use only TV speakers or may be overshadowed by other sounds.

We can fix this problem directly in the Netflix app by following these steps:

  • We pause the TV series or movie we are going to watch and select the ” button.Others” to configure the audio located below the bar showing the playback time
  • If the audio is configured for a 5.1 system, we change the settings to a standard audio track

Well, If the audio is configured with the “Spanish (5.1)” option, we just select the option that says “Spanish”. This will set the audio to stereo, not surround sound.

That’s it, now Netflix will use a more suitable configuration for the use of TV speakers, which will allow: hear the dialogue more clearly and so you learn everything the characters say and what happens in the movie.
