The Help Write feature in Gmail is an AI-powered writing feature that helps users compose an email. From now on, this feature will also be available in Gmail for web. Additionally, Google is adding a new shortcut for the “Polishing” option. Available in the Help Writing toolset, this feature turns your notes into a complete email with one click.
From now on, for drafts longer than twelve words, the “Polishing” option will automatically appear on your screen. For Gmail on the web, users can use the Ctrl + H keyboard shortcut to quickly refine the email. In addition, you can also activate the “Clean” function in the mobile version by swiping to the left.
The Help Me Write feature and new shortcut are rolling out gradually and are only available to Google Workspace users with a Google One AI Premium, Gemini Business and Enterprise add-on, or Gemini Education Premium add-on.
