Apple has introduced its new iMac, with M4 chip and Apple Intelligence.

As usual, Apple shares news about the Mac around the end of October every year. This time the company has updated the 24-inch iMac. The PC will feature an M4 chip, which Apple says is twice as powerful as its predecessor and contains up to ten CPU and GPU cores.

Apple Intelligence

The computer supports Apple Intelligence, which will be available to the general public with the release of the iMac. The AI-based solution is also coming to Europe. Apple initially refused to comply with the European Digital Markets Act and did not want to release its AI suite in Europe. We don’t know what ultimately made the difference.

The new iMac’s screen features a built-in 12MP webcam and has four Thunderbolt 4 ports. The design is otherwise recognizable and has not changed. After much resistance, the company is saying goodbye to Lightning and Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse now have a USB-C port.

You can pre-order the iMac from 1,519 euros. For this price you get an 8-core CPU, an 8-core GPU, 16 gigabytes of memory and 256 gigabytes of storage. From 1,769 euros you can also choose the 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU. The computer will be available from November 8th and is available in seven different colors.
