The ViewSonic VX54 is a new line of portable monitors from a manufacturer specializing in screens. They are sold in two versions depending on screen size 16 or 17 inchesand are intended for mobile games.

You already know that portable monitors are a good way to extend the performance of devices like laptops by using them as a secondary screen. Of course, they are also very useful for small desktops and/or for use with video game consoles, whether desktop or portable.

ViewSonic VX54, gaming on the go

These monitors focus on this segment of the market, which – as it could not be otherwise – excels ultra thin profile 8.85 mm and 11 mm and weight less than one kilogram for both models. Both have a built-in folding standwith adjustable viewing angles of up to 53 degrees, allowing players to find a preferred position for more comfort during long games.

As we said, they are sold in two models with 16 and 17 inches diagonally or in panels IPS with native FHD resolution for 1920 x 1080 pixels. The gaming part is powered by 144 Hz refresh rates and AMD FreeSync image synchronization technology.

In terms of connectivity, they have two USB Type-C ports with 60W bidirectional power, mini-HDMI and audio output. They also have their own sound system with two integrated speakers. ViewSonic VX54 portable monitors will be available in select markets from late October 2024.
