The most important innovation is that the crossover receives a more powerful engine from the Volkswagen Golf GTI: a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 265 hp. Against 240 hp in previous generation cars, the internal combustion engine was combined with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DSG robotic transmission. Such a car reaches 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
New Skoda Kodiaq vRS received more aggressive (compared to the regular Kodiaq) weighting, darkened optics, DCC Plus adaptive suspension, 20-inch wheels. Already basically, the crossover is equipped with a Canton acoustic system and matrix headlights.
The interior features a digital instrument panel with a 10-inch screen and a media system with a 13-inch diagonal screen, as well as sports seats with improved lateral support. The cost of the novelty is not specified, but it is already clear that Kodiaq vRS will be one of the most expensive in the manufacturer’s range.
