To get started with AirDroid, you first need to download the application on both devices. AirDroid can be easily downloaded to your Android phone from the Google Play Store. For your macOS device, you can find the application via the AirDroid download page. The application is not in the Apple App Store.
To complete the installation on your macOS, you need to move the app to the folder Applications.
The application is now installed on your Android and MacOS device. When you open AirDroid, a login screen will appear. If you don’t have an account yet, click Sign in to create an account. You can do this both in the application on your phone and on your PC. You will then be redirected to the AirDroid login page where you can enter your details. Complete the process and activate your account.
Now you can easily send files in the app on your Android device to your macOS device. To do this, click on it Transfer symbol bottom left. You will then be presented with a chat window where you can send media such as photos, videos, music and files to your computer.
