Ricoh announces three new office printers tailored to SMBs or smaller user groups. The three key words are compactness, safety and durability.

Ricoh introduces three new A4 printers aimed specifically at small to medium workgroups that require compact, secure and energy efficient printing solutions. The new models, which include Ricoh IM C320F, M C320FW and P C375, offer a range of features previously only available on the company’s larger A3 printers.

Compact size with a focus on safety and durability

With these models, Ricoh focuses on smaller offices with limited space. The IM C320F and M C320FW are designed to have a footprint that is up to 40 percent smaller than previous models in the same speed class. An updated print engine and space-saving toner cartridges make this compact design possible. In addition, all devices have a number of security features, such as: B. WPA3 Wi-Fi encryption, TLS 1.3 network encryption and the ability to restrict access based on IP addresses, ports and protocols.

To secure the data on the devices, Ricoh offers built-in storage options with support for advanced encryption. The IM C320F has the option to add a 256GB SSD, while the P C375 has internal storage as standard. Flexibility in administration is also new: administrators can work without shared passwords, which further increases security. The devices can be easily integrated into permission management systems such as Windows Active Directory.

Sustainability also plays a big role. Ricoh says the new printers are made from half recycled plastic. The packaging also uses up to 31 percent less single-use plastic compared to previous models and the toner cartridges are delivered in plastic-free packaging.

Advanced workflows for the Ricoh IM C320F

The IM C320F is the most advanced model in this series. The printer supports 32 pages per minute in color and black and white and offers a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. A 7-inch intelligent control panel allows users to access Ricoh’s Smart Integration platforms and applications such as Ricoh CloudStream and Streamline NX.

The device also works seamlessly in SAP and Citrix environments and can receive features and software updates via Ricoh Always Current Technology. This ensures the printer stays up to date without the need for new hardware, improving the lifespan and performance of the device.

The IM C320F is designed to be energy efficient and uses 45 percent less power in sleep mode than its predecessor. This makes the device attractive for companies that want to manage multiple printers without high energy costs.

Basic models

For businesses that don’t need advanced features, the M C320FW offers a simpler alternative. This model does not support SAP or Citrix environments and has a simpler control panel. However, the M C320FW offers a solid resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and a scanning resolution of 600 dpi. This device is aimed primarily at smaller offices and workgroups looking for a reliable but simpler printing solution.

The Ricoh P C375 is a pure printing device with a simple LCD interface and a speed of 32 pages per minute. The device has a standard paper capacity of 300 sheets, expandable to 1,300 sheets. With optional original Adobe PostScript support, the P C375 offers additional flexibility for graphics applications.
