AMD is the first to launch the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7800X and Ryzen 5 7600X

A few days ago, we saw that AMD could launch the Ryzen 7000 on September 15th. It was clear to us that the Ryzen 9 7950X would be that new high-end processor from Sunnyvale and I personally was quite convinced that a launch similar to the one we experienced with the Ryzen 5000 series could be repeated, limited to four new models.

Although not yet confirmed, the new information points in exactly this direction, as it suggests that AMD will be the first to launch the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7800X and Ryzen 5 7600X. As you can see, there are important absences in this list we do not have Ryzen 7 7700X, which should be a cheaper alternative to the Ryzen 7 7800X, and also we do not see Ryzen 5 7600. On the other hand, there is also no trace of the Ryzen 3 7000, which should be rivals of the next generation Core i3 (Raptor Lake-S).

If this launch grid is confirmed, AMD will partially rebuild its line of high-performance, high-end and “premium” midrange processors. The Ryzen 9 7950X has everything a priori to become the most powerful processor on the market, If IPC does not upgrade the Intel Core i9-13900K and the increase in frequencies will end in a “miracle” that will allow high-performance cores to compensate for the lower performance of high-efficiency cores.

In each case, an epic struggle between the two companies awaits usand all indications are that this year will be good for processor recovery and possibly for a complete replacement of the PC, as the prices of graphics cards and other components are falling sharply.
