The problem arises in users of various Russian providers that offer cable and mobile Internet services. If you are using a VPN in Europe or the United States, the files will download without any problems.

On the DTF platform, users have been talking about download issues since mid-June. Many complaints were received, including from residents of Kazakhstan. When you try to download images, you get either a 404 error stating that the file could not be found, or a “There is a problem with your query” message.

It is unknown why Russian users cannot download files. Microsoft has yet to comment on the situation.

Windows is the world’s most popular desktop operating system. According to CNews, in May 2022 Windows accounted for 75.54% of the global market compared to 14.98% in Apple’s macOS.
