If you’re a deer, don’t mess with Tesla

Today in general Tesla continues to be a brand with a very positive evaluation by a large part of the population. And this is logical, of course, because the company has long been at the forefront of innovation in the world of engines with cars that have transferred much of the experience of these consumer electronics devices to the world of engines in our lives. Something to which is added, of course, its commitment to 100% electric, a model that is now beginning to be somewhat questioned, but which for many years has been a great paradigm of sustainability in the motoring world.
The problem is that over the years there have been many reasons that have caused many people (myself included) they lower the overall mark they gave the brand and its proposition. And in case you’re one of those people who read me regularly and think there’s something to my animosity towards Elon Musk, I’ll tell you that this is by far the least important of the many points against the brand.
Probably the most relevant of all It has to do with autonomous driving. Musk has been saying for years that level 5 (the maximum that doesn’t even require a steering wheel, pedals, etc.) of autonomous driving is around the corner, but the truth is that today The company’s autonomous driving systems are still at level 2. Come on, how we have been saying for a long time and some public entities have already decided to ban, Tesla specializes in selling smoke.
Hit the deer with my Tesla.
The FSD did not stop even after hitting a deer at full speed. A huge surprise after a dozen fake stops every day!
Now we are experiencing the worst side of Tesla service. I can’t even get an insurance estimate. The nearest dates are in January. pic.twitter.com/7PMiROmk5x

At this point, one would expect the failures of autonomous driving systems to be minor, but it appears that this is not the case. And as the unfortunate owner of the vehicle in question said, Tesla collided with a deer on the road, did not brake, ran over and continued on its way as if nothing had happened. In the tweet about this paragraph, you can see the video taken by the vehicle up to the moment just before the car ran over the small deer, as the author decided to cut it to avoid the most unpleasant part.
In the news he posted below, he mentions that the deer could be visually confused with one of the pavement marking lines, but of course we have to keep in mind that this wouldn’t happen if Musk decided that Tesla’s autonomous driving systems would be based entirely on cameras, so they do without additional elements and sensors that can provide much more accurate and reliable data.
