Locking without locking

X tells users that you can “see the person’s public posts” but “you are blocked from interacting with them.” You You cannot follow back the person who blocked you or send them private messages.. In fact, the most important change to the blocking feature is that you can only see posts from people who have banned you.

Such updates became known almost as soon as Elon Musk bought Twitter. He announced the changes but did not say when they would be implemented. This probably has to do with his so-called vision of “absolute freedom of expression”; So you can say whatever you want and no one can limit you.

But social media abuse experts say the changes help stalkers and trolls while making their victims less safe.
