GeForce NOW expands support for 120 FPS for all Android phones. Game service updates from streaming NVIDIA will reach all users the same in the coming weeks after being limited to certain phone models for a period of time.
However, it should be noted that this is obvious only those phones that offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz, will be able to use 120 FPS in GeForce NOW for Android. Otherwise, they will continue to run at the speed allowed by the device, usually 60 Hz / FPS.
Until now, NVIDIA has maintained a list of supported Android phone models that have already run at 120 FPS on GeForce NOW, but the change has been approved, so the only speed limit in the coming weeks will be the above technical updates.
Another requirement for GeForce NOW to run on Android at 120 FPS is to have a minimum Internet connection 15 or 25 Mbps for 720p or 1080p resolution, resp. 1080p and 120 FPS are also the maximum for RTX 3080 subscribers, which is the highest level of graphics performance.
NVIDIA Geforce NOW is a cross-platform service
And what about iPhone and iPad users? Nothing at the moment. They will continue to be subject 60 FPS regardless of function your device, as well as use the web application instead of the native, derived from the abuse of Apple’s position known to all.
In other words, GeForce NOW will not leave us any news about its progress in various areas, and if we talk about 120 FPS support on Android today, last month we talked about 4K on Windows and macOS, limited, yes, RTX 3080 subscribers .
Of course, talking about GeForce NOW means above all about games, so don’t miss the June shipment with which NVIDIA added 25 new games to the service catalog.
