Donald trumpRepublican presidential candidate, led by Kamala HarrisDemocratic Vice President 204 delegates compared to 112according to forecasts by mainstream American media.

Trump just awarded 16 delegates Kansas, Montana and Utah, and Harris took over Colorado 10.

The Electoral College is a body of 538 delegates who elect states based on their population.

The winning candidate in each state, even by one vote, receives all of its delegates except Nebraska and Maine.

The candidate who scores 270 points wins the election.
