CPU-Z is one application that is included in every list worth its salt. benchmarka group of software that allows us to test our PC and get a estimate your capacity perform certain computational tasks and/or determine its comparative position compared to other computers. They also usually offer complete information about a specific component, which is very useful in case of hardware updates.

As its name suggests, CPU-Z focuses on the installed processor, offering complete information about its characteristics, but also about the components of the motherboard and chipset, RAM and graphics. It also offers a CPU comparison with other models with performance per core and multiple cores. It has a verification program to upload your results to the internet and generates an internal TXT file with all the information. Totally free for 32 or 64-bit Windows, you can use the generic version and others customized for ASUS, GIGABYTE or MSI motherboards.

The tool has been updated to version 2.12 to increase support for new processors coming to market and the latest memory standards. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D stands out among the first. AMD’s new star which we analyzed at the time of its launch to conclude that it is the best CPU for gaming.

The update also applies to processors “Arrow Lake” by IntelThe Arrow Lake range includes several performance levels, from the flagship Core Ultra 9 285HX to the flagship Core Ultra 5 of the H-series, including the HX and H-series variants of the Core Ultra 9 285H and various Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 models are also fully supported .

CPU-Z now recognizes complete update of Raptor Lake from Intelwhich covers a wide range of processors in different performance segments. This includes the Core 7 series (160HL to 150U), Core 5 series (130HL to 120U) and Core 3 series (100HL to 100U), which serve a variety of computing needs, from high-performance to low-power applications.

The update goes beyond processors to support new DDR5 CUDIMMs (Clocked Unbuffered DIMMs), which promise better stability and data integrity than traditional DDR5. Transition until CAMM and LPCAMM arrive, which will be the biggest RAM refresh in 25 years.

We’ll let you added components:
