Nvidia is launching new tools tailored for developers looking to combine AI and robotics. The solutions announced today by Nvidia are designed to accelerate AI robot development cycles through simulation, blueprinting and modeling.
One such tool, announced at the annual robot learning conference in Munich, is the open source Isaac Lab. Isaac Lab is a framework that enables testing and training of robots in virtual environments.
Additionally, Nvidia is introducing six new workflows for Project Gr00t to build advanced robots faster, SiliconANGLE reports. GR00T-Gen creates realistic training environments, while GR00T-Mimic allows robots to mimic human movements. GR00T-Dexterity optimizes robots’ fine motor skills and GR00T-Mobility helps robots overcome obstacles smoothly. GR00T-Perception makes robots aware of their surroundings and helps them remember human interactions.
