The Notepad application, which received many updates with Windows 11, has now received a major artificial intelligence update.

Known for its basic features since the 90s and 2000s, Notepad has recently been expanded with innovative features such as modern visual design, spell check, auto-correction, and window tabs. Now the application is from Microsoft.With a new feature called “Rewrite” of productive artificial intelligence technologies to update.

What artificial intelligence features are being added to Notepad?

As the name suggests, users can do that with the Rewrite feature Rewrite sentences or paragraphs of your choice in different lengths, tones and expression styles. It will help. Users are presented with three rewrite options for the text they choose and can apply the option they want.

It is also thought that this artificial intelligence support added to the application shares a similar infrastructure with Microsoft’s Copilot assistant, as it works with a cloud-based transaction mechanism and requires logging in with a Microsoft account.

The application opening time will also be faster

For those not interested in artificial intelligence or for users who do not log in with a Microsoft account, Microsoft states that the new version of Notepad offers a significant improvement in boot times. According to Microsoft’s Dave Grochocki, users can do just that with this update 35% to 55% faster Notepad opening time will live.

This new update is currently available exclusively to a limited number of test users in a few countries. If all goes well, we will have access to these features with future stable Windows versions.
