Kia’s largest gasoline car, Telluride, is preparing to change generations. The current model entered the market about six years ago, and now its successor is undergoing tests with the final body. A camouflaged prototype was recently spotted on the streets of California.
The novelty is similar to EV9 with exhaust pipes. It will be bulkier than the current Telluride. You can see the vertical headlights and flashlights peeking out from under the camouflage at both ends of the car.
It is reported that the new Telluride will be equipped with hybrid powertrains. The turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine can be offered with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6.
The large SUV became the brand’s third best-selling vehicle in the United States this year, behind the Sportage and Forte. The premiere is expected next year, and sales will begin in late 2025 or early 2026.
