Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed bin Salman, This Monday he condemned “genocide” committed in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli armed forces, a country he accused of “violating the legitimate rights” of the Palestinian people.

In his opening speech at Arab-Islamic emergency summit which takes place in Riyadh, the capital of the country, Bin Salman Ha defended the Palestinian and Lebanese people in the face of ongoing Israeli Army Operations which in recent months has expanded its attacks beyond Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Bin Salman warned about measures taken by the Israeli government against UN Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East.

We reaffirm that Israel’s ongoing crimes against innocent people and its continued violation of the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque (…) undermine the possibility of peace in the region.

At the same time, he emphasized that these actions “blocking the work of humanitarian organizations who deliver aid to the Palestinian people.”

We express our deepest condemnation of Israeli military operations targeting Lebanese territory and jeopardizing the security, stability and integrity of the country and its citizens.

“We confirm our support for our brothers from Palestine and Lebanon so they can face the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of Israeli aggression, and we do call on the international community to take responsibility for maintaining peace and international security by immediately stopping Israeli attacks (…) and force Israel to respect Iran’s sovereignty.”– he emphasized.

The summit will take place exactly one year after its first meeting, held November 11, 2023 a month after the beginning of the war in Gaza, and in this Arab and Islamic leaders called upon to recognize the urgent need to “join forces and take a collective position on draw attention to the dangerous and unprecedented events taking place in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories,” as reported by the official Saudi News Agency SPA.

That is why the participants plan to perform “ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories and the Lebanese Republic, and current events in the region.”
