This has happened to all of us. There’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to do anything else on our Samsung Galaxy with a YouTube video in the background or just a song we want to hear. You have the option to pay for a YouTube Premium subscription, but the truth is that you won’t need it if you have a Galaxy.

The solution to this is the ability to have One UI. floating windows on the screen. You won’t even need YouTube’s native PiP feature. You just need to follow a few simple steps.

To get started, you must open the YouTube app. Once you do this you have two options. You can go to the open applications screen where there are three vertical lines. When you get there, you can Click on the Youtube application iconwill open a context menu with various options, or press and hold the app screenwill open the floating window directly.

If you use the context window method you will only need to select the ” option.Open popupAfter opening the pop-up window, if you drag the top edge of the horizontal line shown on it, you can place the window wherever you want on the screen. You can also adjust the size by pulling from the bottom. The ability to leave the window adjusted to the size of the video, forgetting about all the unnecessary content that YouTube shows underneath allows you to have it to your liking.

You will have the app or desktop of your choice at the bottom of the floating window, and you can even set both apps to share the screen and take up the screen completely. Selecting “Open in split screen view” instead of “Open in popup view”.

If you want to close the app later, you need to press the open apps screen again and swipe up on the app you want to close (in this case YouTube) or close all apps.
