Google’s artificial intelligence service Gemini Live is preparing to offer a feature that will allow users to interact with their files by speaking directly.

Indications for working with Gemini Live file uploads have been detected in Google’s application code. This function is not yet active, designed to suggest the user to switch to Gemini Live mode when a file is loaded just in case.

Chatting about files becomes easier with Gemini Live

Gemini AI, as Google’s advanced artificial intelligence chatbot, can already perform many tasks. It offers a wide range of services, from answering questions and creating images to working on text documents and complex spreadsheets.

The innovation offered by Gemini Live is the ability for users to talk about their files in a more contextual and natural way to offer. With a new update, Gemini will automatically recommend Gemini Live to users when it detects a file upload. This suggestion allows you to start a conversation about the work you need to do with the file and ask any questions you want about the file.

The feature isn’t even in testing yet and doesn’t have an official release date yet. While you can do this whole process with existing artificial intelligence tools, Google wants to implement this as a feature that allows you to interact directly, just like a teacher or a good friend.
