The US government is holding another UFO hearing today, and you can watch it live. The hearing, titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Uncovering the Truth,” will be chaired by the US House of Representatives Oversight and Accountability Committee. The name of the event refers to UFOs in their new acronym; This makes it more inclusive of observations occurring not only in the air, but also in space and across multiple domains.

This is the second congressional hearing in which the US Congress has convened to “further lift the curtain on the US government’s secret UAP research programs and the undisclosed results they have produced,” according to a statement from the House of Representatives. The hearing will discuss the Department of Defense’s strict policy on classifying UAP and related issues and explore ways to “better inform the American public about this issue.”

Expert witnesses at the trial will include decorated former counterintelligence officer Luis Elizondo, who has alleged for years that the U.S. government withheld information on UAPs, including material recovered from crashed flying saucers.

“The cover-up and disinformation campaign has been so successful that most scientists are unaware of the reality of UAP,” Elizondo wrote in his 2024 book Soon. The book also claims that four “non-human dead bodies” were found in the infamous 1947 disaster in Roswell, New Mexico, and that “China and Russia do not have the same cachet and may assign their own scientists to work on the issue.” “

Elizondo also claimed to have firsthand knowledge of U.S. programs that enlist psychics to “remote view” remote locations.
