Gartner named AI agents one of the top technology trends of 2025. Many companies are already working on their own AI agents, such as LinkedIn, Salesforce and Snowflake. It is not yet known when Operator will be launched, but its development indicates a decisive shift towards autonomous AI systems.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, said a few weeks ago that AI agents will become “mainstream.” Although these assistants have been in development for years, the latest large language models enable AI agents to have more fluid and natural conversations.
