The Permanent Council of the OAS recognizes in the text “financial, technical and logistical support” that some members provide to the MMSS and calls on others to “join efforts to achieve full deployment” of the force and to “continue to coordinate in-kind and material contributions through existing mechanisms, including the United Nations Trust Fund and International Security Coordination.”

It also recognizes the contributions of regional and international partners to the Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti and stresses the importance of supporting the efforts of the Haitian National Police “restore law and order to allow a return to democratic governance in the country.”
