WhatsApp is expanding its features beyond instant messaging and has just announced the addition of a number of updates and new features to its voice calling tool, which allows you to mute and send messages to specific people present in the call group starting this week. add-ons, such as a small pop-up message that displays the name and photo of each user who joins an ongoing call.

This was shared from the company’s own official account, supported by a second publication by Will Cathcart, the current head of the app, who added a slightly more vivid picture of how these new features would work in the app.

At the moment, however, it seems that these new features will only be present in the mobile application, without knowing when we could expect them in the desktop application, and of course WhatsApp Web, which does not even have the voice calls feature yet.
