Fortunately notes can be re-synced on iCloud. Apple’s steps are almost identical to the ones we shared earlier this month:

If your iCloud notes don’t appear on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, follow the steps below.

1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.

2. Tap iCloud, then tap Notes.

3. Make sure the Sync this function is enabled. [пристрій] enable it and then check the Notes app.

4. If you still can’t see the notes, restart your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro. After rebooting, check the settings again.

After these steps, your iCloud notes should appear and start syncing again across devices where you’re signed in to the same Apple account. Once the sync is complete, the content previously synced to iCloud should appear.

In September, Apple updated iCloud’s terms of use with some minor changes, and has been notifying users of acceptance of those terms for the past few weeks. According to reports on social media, the disappearing notes issue continues to affect iPhone users since we first covered it earlier this month.

Disappearing grades weren’t the only problem. In another new support document, Apple recommends that iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro users who receive an “Operation Cannot Be Performed” error when trying to accept the updated iCloud terms of service should update iOS, iPadOS, or VisionOS to the latest version and try again.
