LG introduces the “Digital Gamma Dashboard” for cars, a new member of the Mobility Labworks series.

LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its Gamma Digital Instrument Cluster, the latest addition to its Mobility Labworks series, which features advanced technology concepts for the automotive industry. This new model is the third in the series, following the launch of the Alfa and Beta models last year.
Gamma Digital Dashboard is equipped with LG’s most advanced automotive technologies and includes three modular solutions: Vision Display, Intelligent Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Connectivity and Content Solution. These modular systems offer extensive vehicle customization options, allowing manufacturers to tailor features to suit the needs of each design. For end users, this new brand offering offers greater comfort and connectivity, revolutionizing entertainment, communications and driver assistance systems. This innovation provides a glimpse into the exciting future of mobility.
Offering a variety of options for the car interiors of the future, the Vision Display solution is designed to adapt to dynamic environments. Its 12.3-inch transparent OLED display provides passengers with key information and entertainment during autonomous driving, displaying real-time navigation data, current speed and points of interest (POI). Additionally, the center console features a 14.2-inch P-OLED (plastic OLED) screen that retracts when not in use, keeping the interior space clean and minimalistic.
The Intelligent HMI solution uses artificial intelligence technology and haptic feedback to facilitate intuitive interactions between the user and the vehicle. One of its standout features is the Adaptive Controller, a curved OLED touchscreen integrated into the steering wheel that allows the driver to easily control navigation, media and climate control settings, as well as haptic feedback for a more tactile experience.
In autonomous driving mode, the adaptive controller makes the ride more comfortable by providing access to entertainment apps and games. In addition, LG’s AI-powered virtual assistant offers intelligent support in various situations. For example, if you detect driver fatigue, you can order coffee from a nearby establishment and speed up payment using the in-display fingerprint sensor. The Intelligent HMI solution is also ATSC 3.0 compliant, allowing system updates and emergency alerts to be sent in real time without the need for an Internet connection.
Connectivity & Content transforms the rear seats into an interactive entertainment center, enhancing the in-car experience with 5G connectivity and LG’s webOS platform. Passengers can stream HD content, access live feeds, interact with POI data, share their screen with the vehicle system, and control content and volume using hand gestures. Additionally, with compatibility with a variety of shared services applications, the webOS-based Connectivity & Content solution provides a convenient option for owner drivers.
