It debuted with Samsung’s Galaxy S24 family and then made its way to the Google Pixel itself. ‘Circle to search’ is one of the most useful AI features coming to Android. And now it’s more powerful than ever, thanks to the capabilities of scanning QR codes and identifying songs.
But Google aims to make this much more meaningful. It will serve as an “application drawer” with its new menu that brings together its tools. Android Authority was able to access an internal version and it shows us this: What does it look like after this renovation?.
‘Circle of search’ continues to evolve
Specialized media investigated an old version of the eponymous Google application. Especially in version 15.45.43, new user interface for the ‘Circle for search’ function mentioned above. It will serve as a base of operations to transition between the growing tools of this role.
As we can see in the images, the interface takes up more space than the current version: elements are framed in a box with rounded corners. Of course, there is this aesthetic change behind destiny. app drawer this appears where the translation button is now.
What consequences does this new chapter of the ‘circle of search’ have? Host applications that provide access to Google Lens as well as translation functionality. What is included in the beta version of the Google application gives us clues about the near future of this interesting function. It’s still pretty young, but Google has taken it upon itself to improve it step by step. It started as a useful feature for finding elements of an image by simply circling our finger, it evolved alongside Lens and in the future will have other skillsstill unknown.
