Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the general availability of AWS App Studio.
According to SiliconANGLE, AWS App Studio is a tool that allows users to build business applications simply by describing what they want to build in natural language.
No programming knowledge is required to create applications. According to AWS itself, the tool is intended to help employees develop internal software tools more quickly, such as apps for managing marketing materials or tracking IT ticket requests.
Users can enter a short description of their desired app. App Studio then generates a list of features and interface suggestions. Once approved, the app is created automatically and the interface can be easily customized using drag-and-drop tools. It would also be possible to integrate the app with external services such as Salesforce and test the app before putting it into production.
AWS has also added more options. For example, users can make existing apps smarter by adding generative AI functionality using natural language, such as text summarization and content generation. App Studio is free to use and customers only pay for the time employees spend using the apps. New customers can use their apps free of charge for the first 60 days.
