There is no official information about this yet, but thanks to a few leaks we already have it. Some information about what Samsung is preparing for next year. In fact, as always for the South Korean company, this year will be a year that will start with the announcement of the new Galaxy S25.

There will be a new member of this device family that will come with Snapdragon 8 Elite: Galaxy S25 Slim. This slim phone will be released in late 2025, but everything indicates that Samsung will show it off first along with the rest of the S25. Leaks continue to attack this ‘better’ phone. this time straight for their camera.

The Slim model will not give up having an Ultra photo section

We can’t be surprised by their intention to launch an S25 Slim device. The new Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has been available in Asia for a few weeks now. This device is a direct evolution of the Galaxy Z Fold6. betting on a thinner design in this case and some interesting changes, such as the addition of a 200-megapixel module. All of this is done without taking into account that Apple’s new iPhone 17 Air will be direct competition.

As we said above, this new device has already been hacked several times due to leaks. In fact, we told you a few days ago that this device would come with an ‘Ultra’ camera. Now the new information collected by the GSMArena environment goes much further, giving more specific details of all rear cameras this is what the S25 Slim will have.

According to the aforementioned portal, the main camera of this smartphone will be as follows: A 200-megapixel one with an ISOCELL HP5 sensor (may also be available on the new Galaxy Z Fold7). However, unlike the JN3 that the Ultra model will have, we will also find the 50-megapixel JN5 sensor as a telephoto lens.

The third camera will be a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, depending on this environment. In addition to this data, the leak goes further by providing a potentially important detail: Samsung may have chosen to use the ALoP design for these cameras. Thanks to this feature, which is characterized by the placement of lenses in front of the prism instead of opposite, you can save a lot of space (An important thing for the Slim model).

We have no choice but to be patient and wait until next 2025 to see if all this will happen. As we said above, Samsung this new device will be released in the second half of the year.
