After a successful sixth test flight starshipAt the event held on November 20, Elon Musk’s company received a message from the US Federal Civil Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding the launch of the transportation system.
In the draft Environmental Impact Assessment, the FAA stated that it would allow SpaceX to increase the number of Starship launches from its South Texas base to 25 per year. Additionally, companies are likely to allow continued increases in the size and power of the Super Heavy rocket and Starship.
Also founder SpaceX Elon Musk said the company plans to upgrade to a larger and more powerful version starship And Super Heavy in about a year. This version, called Starship 3, will double the thrust of the upper stage, increasing the thrust of the booster from approximately 74 meganewtons to 100 meganewtons. For better understanding, an analogy can be made: Starship’s thrust at launch will be three times stronger than that of the Saturn V rocket that sent people to the moon in the 20th century.
