The “spot,” in black, white and red, is produced by Massachusetts-based Boston Dynamics and is shaped like a mechanical dog with the twist that the phrase is printed on its legs. “Do not iron”.
The robot dog’s body is called USSS TSD – Secret Service Technical Security Division.
According to the US Secret Service, the robot dog provides “technical expertise and operational support to criminal investigations” while working to create a safe environment for the people under its protection.

It is just under 1.20 meters long, about 60 centimeters high, and can move on its four legs at speeds of up to 1.50 meters per second.
Since its launch, Spot has had government agencies, law enforcement organizations and companies join its teams, including Florida Power & Light and Chevron. (EFE)
