President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo congratulated Yamanda Orsi, candidate of the leftist Front Ampliofor winning the second round of Uruguay’s presidential elections on Sunday.

In a post on his social media account, X, the President of Mexico conveyed congratulations to Caroline Cosse, Orsi’s vice presidential candidate and who will be vice president.

“Congratulations to Yamanda Orsi and Carolina Causse on their victory as President and Vice President of the brotherly Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Former presidents join in the congratulations

Former President of Argentina Cristina Fernandez expressed ‘great joy’ for the triumph of Orsi and Cosset, to whom he sent “all congratulations.”
