The new version of the SUV was introduced Range Rover. It’s called the Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition and is exclusive to Australia. The name of the model is inspired by Orpheus Island, located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The car was recently unveiled to a select audience at Range Rover House on Orpheus Island in North Queensland.

It was painted Bright Blue with a silver roof. The body features black elements and silver chrome details, while the 23-inch forged alloy wheels are finished in dark gray with a satin black effect. Range Rover SV Orpheus Edition Perlino is equipped with quilted leather seats. It received white ceramic controls, personalized seat engravings, door sill plates and cushions.

The car is equipped with a powerful V8 engine with a volume of 4.4 liters and two turbines, producing 750 Nm of torque and 615 hp. According to the British automaker, this model can accelerate to 261 km/h and it takes 4.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h. As for towing capacity, it is rated at 3,500 kg.

Along with the SUV, customers will also receive a replica of the statue found underwater off the North Queensland coast. Its price is $338,317. This makes the model around twice as expensive as the base Range Rover.
