Tanium introduces Autonomous Endpoint Management, a platform that helps IT and security teams manage endpoints in real-time and at scale.
Tanium announces a new AI-powered endpoint management solution. Autonomous Endpoint Management, as it is commonly called, combines advanced technologies to automate repetitive tasks, limit cybersecurity risks and improve operational processes.
The platform provides real-time insights and automated workflows that increase efficiency and security in dynamic IT environments. Three technologies form the basis of AEM:
- Real-time cloud intelligence analyzes the impact of changes on millions of endpoints and delivers predictive insights with reliability ratings.
- Automation & Orchestration enables teams to create automation scripts without in-depth programming knowledge.
- Deployment templates and rings support phased deployments to minimize risk and costs.
Guides and Guardians
The user interface consists of several consoles. Tanium Guide provides recommendations based on real-time analytics. Tanium Adaptive Actions automates these recommendations, while Tanium Action Oversight provides control and visibility over the autonomous processes. Additionally, the platform supports features such as Tanium Ask, a natural language interface, and Tanium Guardian for critical notifications.
Tanium AEM integrates with platforms like Microsoft and ServiceNow, providing real-time data to improve the AI capabilities of these systems. This increases the usability of existing tools in complex IT environments and provides operational resilience, compliance, scalability and cost benefits. Tanium wants to use the platform to provide a hotline for organizations struggling with overburdened IT and security teams.
