A Two-year-old migrant girl from El Salvador She was arrested last Sunday in Maverick County. Texasafter being found without the company of his family on the Mexico-US border.
The little girl, wearing a hot pink jacket, migrated unaccompanied by an adult and was holding a piece of paper with a name and phone number on it – information that authorities are trying to use to track your family.
The discovery came as a group of more than 200 migrants, including 60 unaccompanied minors, were detained by SBU agents. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
In the video released by DPS, the girl, although confused, appeared calm during questioning by officers. When asked about her destination, the little girl replied that she was looking for her. parents and stated that they were already in USA.
In a video distributed on social networks, during the interview the girl showed the agents a small yellow piece of paper on which her phone number and name were written down.
Despite the information provided, it has not yet been confirmed whether authorities were able to locate the minor’s parents or identify the person associated with the number written on the paper.
Others were arrested along with the girl. 60 minors traveling unaccompanied by adultsand, between the ages of 2 and 17 years, local media reported.
