Xiaomi has introduced several products to the international market, including an ARM-based laptop, a fitness bracelet, and a smart scooter. The company took the opportunity to present the new smart TV series Xiaomi TV A2. They are available in three screen sizes 43 inch, 50 inch and 55 inch. All three TVs have the same features.
All three models of Xiaomi TV A2 are equipped with a 60 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth and a 4K UHD panel (3840 × 2160) covering 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Other features include HDR10, Dolby Vision and MEMC chip. The included 2 × 12 W speakers support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
In terms of software, the Xiaomi TV A2 runs Android 10 out of the box with standard features like Google Assistant, Play Store and built-in Chromecast features. Popular video streaming programs such as Netflix and YouTube are pre-installed. Smart TV can also be used as a control center for other Google Home devices.
Under the hood of the Xiaomi TV A2 is a quad-core SoC with four ARM Cortex-A55 processor cores, ARM Mali G52 MP2 graphics processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an RJ-45 Ethernet connector, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a standard set of composite ports.
The Xiaomi TV A2 series will be available for purchase from June 28. Options with a diagonal of 43, 50 and 55 inches will cost 449, 499 and 549 euros, respectively. They can be purchased from the official Xiaomi website and other retail stores. Source
