Last week, Microsoft released a number of cumulative updates as part of the traditional monthly patch for Windows on Tuesday. However, the update was not very successful, and to fix the unpleasant shortcomings, Microsoft released an unscheduled emergency update of the operating system.
Users encountered problems with Azure Active Directory sign-in as well as Microsoft 365 on Arm devices. Users of programs and services that use Azure Active Directory to log in, including VPN, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook, may encounter this issue.
Updates are available for Windows 11 (21H2) and three versions of Windows 10 (21H2, 21H1 and 20H2). They are installed automatically via Windows Update or can be installed manually via the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Additionally, the Tuesday Patch updates “attacked” the Wi-Fi hotspot feature on some devices and some .NET apps stopped opening. However, for these issues, the company offers only one workaround – re-enable the .NET Framework and disable the Wi-Fi hotspot feature entirely.
