Microsoft has released a patch that aims to fix the problems of the previous one.
Microsoft has once again started delivering an updated version of the Exchange Server security update.
The first version of the update disrupted email traffic. The update was intended for hybrid and on-premises servers, but Microsoft had no choice but to withdraw the update and restore them. The update particularly caused problems for users who needed to configure transport or data loss protection rules. After installation they stopped working.
Last year, Microsoft faced a similar problem. Then an update caused problems with non-English operating systems. Then the tech giant also had to release a new update version.
The new release will now automatically roll out and install after Thanksgiving. Users of the original version are recommended to manually install the new update and uninstall the old one.
