Jaguar introduced its new car Ttype 00 ConceptSo far it has only been created in the form of a concept car, exhibited at Miami Art Week in Florida. Jaguar sees the 00 Concept as an “artistic project” that combines bright colors with geometric shapes inspired by the past, pointing to a minimalist future.

“Our presence at Miami Art Week underscores Jaguar’s purpose as a champion of all forms of art and creativity,” said Rodon Glover, Jaguar General Manager. “We know that art is the passion of our future customers, because what better way than to go to one of the world’s leading arts festivals and talk to them directly?”

There is no rearview mirror in the vehicle. These were replaced by cameras hidden in the fuselage on the sides, under the front wings. The huge hood and the simple rectangular grille with the new logo attract attention.

Just like the Tesla Cybercab, there is no rear window. In its place is what Jaguar calls a “pantographic rear door” that provides access to the rear cargo rack. The car has a butterfly door.

Jaguar said the concept car uses the company’s new JEA architecture, designed from the ground up for future electric vehicles. The car is expected to be equipped with four-wheel drive and two electric motors with a total power exceeding 600 hp and will have a range of more than 600 km. It will be possible to replenish the power reserve of 300 km in 15 minutes.

It is not yet clear how similar the updated Jaguar’s first series electric car will be to the Type 00 Concept. However, it is known that he has already undergone tests.
