President Soyer said that solidarity is more important than ever in these days when the economic crisis is worsening: “Unemployment and poverty are the biggest problems in our country. The cost of living has reached unimaginable proportions. Now it is time for solidarity again. That solidarity we can increase by paying the water bills of our compatriots who are struggling financially.”

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has relaunched the suspended bill application to support families who are struggling to meet even their basic needs due to living conditions exacerbated by the economic crisis. Expressing that Ramadan is a very special day when the spirit of solidarity rises, the mayor of Izmir, the metropolitan municipality, Tunç Soyer, called on all residents of Izmir to support the campaign as much as possible, saying: “Unemployment and poverty are our country’s greatest problems. The cost of living has reached unimaginable proportions. Now it is time for solidarity again. We can increase this solidarity by paying the water bills of our compatriots who are in financial difficulties. I believe that this solidarity will keep us alive and that in this way we will overcome the difficult days.”

Soyer stated that the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has provided 20 percent free water up to 10 cubic meters and 2 cubic meters of free water over 10 cubic meters to civilians, families of martyrs and veterans in need of assistance under the humanitarian tariff. support. to all residents of Izmir to become a partner in this solidarity with the Deferred Bill application.

Those who are unable to pay their monthly water bill and those who wish to pay on their behalf can apply at www.bizizmir.com. Citizens in need can upload their unpaid water bill to the system via the site. The invoices of citizens whose applications are approved in the context of the social investigation and who appear to be in real need are suspended.
