How will it work?
An upcoming Google Chrome feature uses artificial intelligence to provide a summary of reviews on independent sites. When you visit this or that page, the browser will collect reviews about it from all over the Internet and then publish a summary about the reliability and safety of the resource. According to the news of 24 Kanal based on BleepingComputer, if you enter a fake site whose aim is to steal your data or money, artificial intelligence will warn you about this.
It looks like the new feature will be called “Store Reviews.” Will turn to platforms like Trust Pilot, ScamAdvisor and others for information.
The summary will be displayed in the “page information bubble” that appears when you click the “View site information” icon in the address bar (next to the site URL).
For example, when you visit a site such as “x.com”, when you click on the lock icon, an information panel opens with various details about the site. This panel contains the Store Reviews section. If you click on it, you will see a short AI-generated report about the site’s reputation based on reviews from various sources.

It is not yet known whether the new feature will automatically run in the background to warn you of danger, or whether users will have to manually request the information whenever they are in doubt.
Although this will save you a lot of time as you no longer have to search for reviews yourself, the usefulness of these review sites is still questionable. They certainly don’t exist for nothing, they have to make money from ads to maintain their servers and domains. If users stop coming and rely solely on AI, this will seriously affect their stability and may even lead to closure.
The AI-powered feedback feature isn’t the only tool coming to Chrome. The developers also add: Advanced protection based on artificial intelligenceThis will help in real-time weeding out dangerous sites that distribute malware and extensions. This was previously called proactive protection, but has now been changed to AI-based protection.
