AWS announces numerous new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for Bedrock at its re:Invent conference.
Amazon unveiled new AI capabilities for Bedrock at its AWS re:Invent conference. The presentation focused on the three building blocks that make AWS so popular with its users: computing, storage and databases, and in particular on the development of AI in these areas. During Re:Invent, AWS builds on these capabilities and adds another: inference.
Novelties
Amazon Bedrock now supports RAG (Withdrawal of the extended generation) Evaluation. Bedrock uses an LLM to optimize RAG using the Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases.
Through model distillation, it is possible to transfer knowledge from larger models to smaller and more efficient models specifically tailored to the user’s use case. According to Amazon, Bedrock generates responses based on text prompts and then creates a smaller model focused on user needs.
Bedrock Agents will soon be able to work with multiple agents to complete complex processes. And menot least,Bedrock is capable of performing automated thinking. This means that it can mathematically prove whether something is correct or not and thus prevent hallucinations.
