Microsoft has released a new build of Windows Server 2025 for Windows Insiders (Microsoft has released a long-delayed changelog). Build 26334 is the last release for this year, so expect the next update in January 2024. Meanwhile, here’s what’s new in Windows Server 2025 build 26334:
Today, we are excited to release the next build of the next Windows Server Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) build, which includes Desktop Experience and Server Core deployment options for Datacenter and Standard editions, Annual Channel for Container Host, and Desktop Experience and Server Core for Azure Edition. (for VM evaluation only). In this preview, branding remains Windows Server 2025; Please refer to the Windows Server vNext preview when reporting issues. If you signed up for Server Flight you should automatically receive this new build.
Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) for business
Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) for business is a software-based security layer that reduces the attack surface by enforcing a clear list of software that can be run. We have provided a Microsoft-defined “default policy” that can be applied to a server using PowerShell cmdlets based on our security configuration platform called ‘OSconfig’, introduced in Windows Server 2025.

Windows Admin Center (WAC)
Starting with build 26252, users of an earlier version of Windows Server can download and install Windows Admin Center directly from the Windows Server desktop using an application in the operating system that performs the download and guides you through the installation process.
Notes. To access this feature, you must be running Windows Server Datacenter or Standard Preview.
