Former President of Bolivia Evo Morales (2006-2019) said this Friday EFE that the government of Luis Arce allegedly has a plan to arrest him and transfer him to USA or Argentinato prevent him from standing as a candidate in the 2025 elections.

“What is happening in Bolivia is very serious and I have to report what is happening with national and international public opinion,” the politician said.

Morales mentioned that recently received two warnings from people associated with the Ministry of Government (Interior), who warned him that the head of this department, Eduardo del Castillo, was working with the police to arrest him.

The plan “is to end Evo’s life, if they can’t end Evo’s life, then they need to arrest him and send him to Argentina or the United States.” with the sole purpose of avoiding his candidacy– he remarked.

The former president stated that The plan is aimed at “expelling” him or “throwing him out” of Bolivia.to bring him to justice in the United States in a drug trafficking case they believe they are trying to link him with.

Or send it to Argentina for open investigation for statutory rape and human trafficking allegedly committed by Morales when he took refuge in this country.

The first case is related to extradition request for Maximiliano Davilaformer anti-drug chief of the Morales government, which the United States has imposed on Bolivia, has already been sanctioned by Bolivian justice and which the government has confirmed will be carried out before Christmas.
