Over the past few months, Apple has increased prices for some or all iCloud+ storage plans in 10 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Tanzania and the Philippines. Updated prices for each of these countries are listed in a support document on Apple’s website.
For example, in Japan, prices increased by approximately 15%.

Local currencies in most of the affected countries have depreciated against the US dollar over the past few years, which is likely the main reason for the higher prices. iCloud+ pricing in the US remains unchanged this year.
iCloud+ plans give users additional storage beyond the 5GB of free storage included with iCloud by default. Plans also include other benefits like iCloud Private Transfer, Hide My Email, and HomeKit Secure Video.
