The association, which aims to empower underprivileged individuals with data science skills through coding, and has so far offered software, artificial intelligence and social skills development workshops to over 300,000 youth, and has benefited over 5,000 youth her training over the past two years, especially in the earthquake zone, has supported the careers of young people with international collaborations and free programs.
Starting as a social enterprise, growing into an association and organizing workshops in areas such as software, artificial intelligence, data science, game development and cyber security, Kodluyor was awarded the title of “Europe’s most successful deep technology trainer” by DTTI.
Berat Kjamili, chairman of the board of directors of We Code, said in his statement to AA correspondent that they dream of making Turkey a talent center in the field of technology and artificial intelligence.
Kjamili stated that they want people to think of artificial intelligence experts and young people leading the technology when Turkey is mentioned, noting that young people develop both their technical and social skills in the workshops.
Kjamili pointed out that they facilitate the employment of young people in technology companies by training them in software, artificial intelligence and social skills: “In addition to technical skills, we also provide young people with social skills such as teamwork and by providing feedback, we guide also help them find a job with support in preparing for job interviews,” he said.
Kjamili stated that their association has reached almost 300,000 graduates to date, that the workshops and digital training are completely free, and that they have achieved this through collaboration with international companies, foundations and financiers, support from development organizations and ministry funds.

Kjamili made the following statements about his association, which also develops projects in collaboration with TÜBİTAK, and was selected as “Europe’s most successful deep technology trainer”:
“The European Commission aims to train 1 million deep technology talents. Turkey is also included in this. They wanted to reward the institutions that collaborate with them on this mission. We were chosen as the first institution in Europe as the institution that develops the most talent among the organizations and associations that are members of their initiatives Especially in the fields of data science, cyber We reached 6,785 young people with our in-depth technology training in the field of security and software because we never expected to receive such an award we did not apply for the award during the ‘Deep Technology’ event organized by the European Commission in Warsaw, Poland. “We received it on the same day. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency of the European Union (EU) congratulated us and shared it on their social media. We were very proud.”
Explaining that they have been trying to reach more youth for about eight years, Kjamili said they aim to reach 1 million youth and offer workshops in software, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital training.
Kjamili said: “Our biggest dream is not just 1 million talents in Europe. 1 million talents in Europe come from Turkey. Our call to young people is to be pioneers in software, to code the future, to get involved, to , to take action.” he said.
