The OxygenOS 15 update (CPH2447_15.0.0.201) introduces a number of new features and improvements aimed at improving functionality, customization and user experience. The update was initially available in the India (India) region, but will be rolled out to North America (NA) and Europe (EU) within three weeks until successful rollout.

The update introduces a new graphics engine for smoother animations and transitions when multitasking and switching between applications. For consistent navigation, swipe gestures are now consistent across the system, including third-party apps.

Shooting features are enhanced with AI Retouch technology that sharpens blurry images, eliminates flare and improves color accuracy. Live Photos capture three seconds of motion, and reverse editing lets you make adjustments without losing previous edits. Customization options now include variable themes and advanced personalization for the always-on display, lock screen, and home screen. User interface improvements include smoother transitions and smoother rounded corners.

AI tools boost productivity with AI Notes, which organizes fragmented content, improves text quality, and removes filler words from audio recordings. New gesture controls simplify multitasking by making it easier to manage floating windows and split screens. Connectivity updates include smoother Wi-Fi transitions and support for iOS file sharing via OnePlus Share. The new Charge Limit function stops charging at 80% to protect the battery during long-term charging.

Privacy updates provide categorized views in Private Vault for easier data management and quick access to hidden apps from the home screen. Notifications and quick settings have been redesigned for better usability, and the clock and notes widgets have been optimized. Additional changes include new wallpapers, updated app icons, and an improved calculator app with a hidden easter egg.
