Installation support article page Windows 11 It was recently updated to add some new things on unsupported hardware.

firstMicrosoft has fixed the disclaimer that users must accept when proceeding to install Windows 11 on any hardware that is not officially supported by Microsoft.

SecondA very useful direct link has been added to the Windows recovery menu so that users who have problems with incompatible systems can return to Windows 11.

If you remember, Microsoft was officially recommending a new computer for upgrading to Windows 11 from very old systems, and we guessed that the changes to the support page were made because Redmond’s company probably realized that not everyone could upgrade.

After we discovered the updated page, other members of the press began reporting on this page. Microsoft noticed the noise and updated the article again. This time, the title of the article has been updated as “Windows 11 installation on devices that do not meet minimum system requirements” instead of “Windows 11 installation on devices that do not meet minimum system requirements”.

Microsoft also announced that it does not officially allow users with unsupported hardware to run Windows 11 and that users should immediately revert to Windows 10.

Important: Updated December 12, 2024.
This help article was first published on October 4, 2021, when Windows 11 became publicly available. The purpose of this support page, at the time of publication and thus far, is to detail considerations for customers to understand the implications of installing Windows 11 according to Microsoft’s recommendations on devices that do not meet Windows 11 system requirements. If you have version 11.0 installed on a device that does not meet the Windows 11 system requirements, Microsoft recommends that you immediately revert to Windows 10.
Windows 11 minimum system requirements have not changed…

So for those running Windows 10 on devices that don’t meet Windows 11 system requirements, Microsoft appears to be pushing for a new PC once 10 reaches the end of support.
